Meet Aya Toujou, one of the main heroines of the manga *Strawberry 100%* (*Ichigo 100%*), in this figurine from FuRyu’s BiCute Bunnies collection. Standing approximately 27 cm tall, this figure captures the character in the range’s signature style, with an outfit inspired by bunny girls and genuine fishnet fabric elements.
Aya is depicted standing in a demure pose that suits her temperament well. The figurine retains her long black hair and gentle expression, complemented by large black rabbit ears. Her outfit combines a black top, a red bow tie, white cuffs and a small white ruffled apron decorated with red bows. Long black fishnet stockings and matching high heels complete the look.
Measuring 27 cm, this figurine makes a striking display piece without taking up as much space as a large-scale figurine. The BiCute Bunnies collection stands out in particular for its use of genuine fishnet tights, which provide a contrast in texture to the parts sculpted from PVC and ABS.
Aya Toujou is one of the main heroines of *Strawberry 100%*, a romantic comedy by Mizuki Kawashita serialised in Shueisha’s *Weekly Shōnen Jump* between 2002 and 2005. The story follows Junpei Manaka, a teenager who dreams of becoming a film director and whose love life becomes entangled with several girls, including Aya, Tsukasa Nishino and Satsuki Kitaōji.
Shy, reserved and an excellent student, Aya secretly harbours the ambition to become a novelist. At the start of the story, she is writing a fantasy story in a notebook, but lacks the self-confidence to show it to others. Junpei discovers her work and encourages her to pursue her dream, whilst in turn confiding in her his own desire to make films. Their shared interest in creativity thus becomes one of the foundations of their relationship.
Aya subsequently plays a key role in Junpei’s film projects, notably by writing the screenplays for his films. Her personal development, her growth as a writer and the feelings she harbours for Junpei form a significant part of *Strawberry 100%*. This BiCute Bunnies version therefore offers a very different take on her usual schoolgirl look, whilst retaining her gentle and reserved demeanour.
