Origin and world of the character (Lore)
Created by brothers Matt and Ross Duffer, the Stranger Things franchise blends science fiction, horror fantasy and 1980s nostalgia in the fictional small town of Hawkins, Indiana. The "Tales from '85" action figure collection takes collectors directly back to 1985, a pivotal period marked by the opening of the Starcourt shopping centre, teenage love affairs and the persistent threats of the Mental Flagellant from the Upside Down. Nikki is one of the faces of this extended universe, capturing the pop culture and unique atmosphere of that era.
