STAR WARS - Togruta (Halloween) - Figure Black Series 15cm

STAR WARS – Togruta ‘Halloween Edition’ – The Black Series 15 cm action figure

Hasbro reimagines the Togruta species with this seasonal Halloween Edition figure from the Star Wars: The Black Series collection. Standing approximately 15 cm tall, this version combines the aesthetic of the Star Wars galaxy with imagery of classic Halloween creatures, offering an interpretation inspired by the undead.

The figure retains the anatomical features characteristic of the Togruta, notably the long cranial appendages and striped headdress, but here adopts a deliberately macabre design. The character wears a light-coloured fabric outfit, featuring black and white patterns and a weathered appearance reminiscent of a creature returned from the dead. Like the other Black Series figures, it has multiple points of articulation to allow for various display poses.

Two accessories complete this edition: a staff featuring an electric effect and a small Porg serving as a companion. The set is presented in a display box with graphics specially designed for Halloween. This Togruta thus joins the other seasonal variants in The Black Series range, which aim to blend the visual styles of Star Wars with those of Halloween.

Character origin and lore

The Togruta are a humanoid species native to the planet Shili. They are instantly recognisable by their montrals – horn-like structures on their heads – as well as their long, striped cranial appendages. The species has also settled on other worlds, including Kiros, where a large Togruta colony lived during the Clone Wars.

Several key characters in the saga belong to this species. Among them are Jedi Master Shaak Ti and, most notably, Ahsoka Tano, Anakin Skywalker’s former Padawan, who later became a major figure in the fight against Imperial forces.

However, this Halloween Edition does not represent any specific Togruta from the official canon. Here, Hasbro uses the species’ physical characteristics as a starting point to create a fantastical version inspired by an undead creature, accompanied by a Porg and accessories specially designed for the seasonal collection. It is therefore, first and foremost, a decorative and humorous interpretation of the Star Wars universe, rather than a character taken directly from a film or series.
