STAR WARS - Magma Trooper & Shore Trooper - Black Series 15cm

STAR WARS – Scarif Stormtrooper & Magma Stormtrooper – The Black Series Gaming Greats 15 cm

Hasbro brings together two specialist soldiers of the Galactic Empire in this Star Wars: The Black Series Gaming Greats set, inspired by the Star Wars Battlefront video game. The set includes a Scarif Stormtrooper, also known as a Shoretrooper, and a Magma Stormtrooper, each reproduced as an articulated figure measuring approximately 15 cm.

Both figures feature numerous points of articulation to allow for a variety of combat poses. The Scarif Stormtrooper is distinguished by his beige armour, designed for deployment in tropical environments, with blue markings on the chest and shoulders. The Magma Stormtrooper, meanwhile, retains the general silhouette of the Imperial Stormtrooper but wears red armour to match his equipment for operations on volcanic worlds.

The set includes three accessories: each soldier comes with his own blaster rifle, whilst the Magma Stormtrooper also features a removable jetpack. The set is presented in a The Black Series display box.

Character background and universe (Lore)

The Shoretroopers, or coastal defence soldiers, are specialised Stormtroopers of the Galactic Empire. They are specifically tasked with patrolling the beaches, bunkers and military installations on Scarif, a tropical planet home to a major Imperial complex. Their beige armour, better suited to this environment than the standard white armour, is one of their distinguishing features.

Magma Stormtroopers represent another specialisation within the Imperial forces. In the Star Wars Battlefront universe, these soldiers are deployed to particularly hostile volcanic worlds, notably Sullust, where they take part in the suppression of uprisings and operations carried out around Imperial installations. Their red armour and specialised equipment make them immediately distinguishable from traditional Stormtroopers.

The Empire employs numerous variants of Stormtroopers in order to adapt its forces to the various environments encountered across the galaxy. Alongside the Shoretroopers and Magma Stormtroopers are the Snowtroopers for icy environments, the Sandtroopers for desert worlds, and the Scout Troopers for reconnaissance missions.
