STAR WARS 3 - Galactic marine - Figure Black Series 15cm

This Hasbro action figure depicts a Galactic Marine, an elite unit of clone troopers featured in *Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith*. Part of the Star Wars The Black Series collection, it measures 6 inches – approximately 15 cm – with a design directly inspired by the film and multiple points of articulation allowing for a variety of poses.

The Galactic Marine is immediately distinguishable from standard Clone Troopers by his kit, designed for particularly hostile environments. His armour combines white elements with large dark red protective panels, notably on the helmet, torso and shoulders. The lower part of the outfit is complemented by a long, kama-style guard in the same colour scheme, whilst various utility pouches are arranged around the belt.

The helmet features the very distinctive silhouette of the Galactic Marines, with a wide, dark red upper section and a white faceplate that reveals only a narrow visor. The entire outfit has a deliberately weathered finish, recreating the appearance of soldiers engaged in the final campaigns of the Clone Wars. A rucksack completes the kit and reinforces the military look of this specialist unit.

Character background and universe (Lore)

The Galactic Marines are a unit of clone troopers from the Galactic Republic active during the Clone Wars. They serve under the command of Clone Commander Bacara, serial number CC-1138, and are known for their distinctive armour as well as their effectiveness and determination in battle.

During the Outer Rim Sieges, Bacara and his men took part in the Mygeeto campaign alongside Jedi Master Ki-Adi-Mundi. This icy planet, controlled by the Intergalactic Banking Clan, became the scene of particularly violent clashes between Republic forces and the Separatist droid armies. The Galactic Marines’ heavy, protective equipment was perfectly suited to this cold and hostile environment.

The Galactic Marines feature in one of the most memorable sequences in *Revenge of the Sith*. When Palpatine issues Order 66, Commander Bacara and his soldiers turn on Ki-Adi-Mundi whilst he is leading their advance on Mygeeto. Taken by surprise by his own troops, the Jedi Master attempts to defend himself but falls under their fire.

This Black Series figure therefore depicts one of the soldiers from the unit directly associated with Bacara and the Battle of Mygeeto, recognisable by his dark red and white armour, his heavy equipment and his appearance, adapted to the extreme environments of the final campaigns of the Clone Wars.
