STAR WARS 2 - Padmé Amidala (Geonosis) - Fig. Vintage Collection 9.5cm

Star Wars: Attack of the Clones – Padmé Amidala Geonosis Action Figure, The Vintage Collection, 9.5 cm

Relive the Battle of Geonosis with this articulated Padmé Amidala action figure, measuring approximately 9.5 cm and part of Hasbro’s Star Wars: The Vintage Collection. Inspired by her appearance in Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones, it depicts the Senator from Naboo in the white outfit she wore during her confrontation with the Separatist forces.

The figure features multiple points of articulation and photorealistic detailing of collector’s quality. Her outfit recreates Padmé’s iconic look in the Geonosis arena, with her fitted white ensemble, boots and the distinctive details from that scene in the film.

A blaster is included with the figure to recreate the various action scenes in which Padmé fights the Separatist droids alongside Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi and the Jedi. This accessory allows the character to be displayed in a range of dynamic poses.

The figure is presented on an illustrated card in a retro style, inspired by the historic packaging of the Star Wars range. Its 9.5 cm size is compatible with the other 3.75-inch scale characters, vehicles and scenery from The Vintage Collection.

Character background and lore

Padmé Amidala is a leader from Naboo, elected Queen of her planet whilst still very young. After her reign ended, she continued her political commitment by becoming a Senator and resolutely championed peace, democracy and diplomacy within the Galactic Republic.

In *Attack of the Clones*, Padmé becomes the target of several assassination attempts due to her opposition to the creation of an army for the Republic. Placed under the protection of Anakin Skywalker, she then travels with him to Geonosis to rescue Obi-Wan Kenobi, who had been captured after uncovering the Separatists’ military preparations.

Padmé and Anakin are in turn captured after making their way through a dangerous droid factory. Sentenced to death in the Geonosis arena, they manage to fend off the creatures sent against them before the arrival of the Jedi and the clone army. This battle marks the official start of the Clone Wars.

Brave and skilled with a blaster, Padmé does not confine herself to her political role. She takes a direct part in the fighting and remains one of the Republic’s key figures, whilst her secret relationship with Anakin will have major consequences for the future of the galaxy.
