Origin and world of the character (Lore)
Orphaned following the massacre of the Khitomer colony by the Romulans, Worf, son of Mogh, is rescued and brought up by his earthly human parents, Sergey and Helena Rozhenko. Torn throughout his life between his human upbringing and the rigid warrior traditions of his native people, he chose to join Starfleet Academy. Aboard the USS Enterprise-D under the command of Captain Jean-Luc Picard, he rose through the ranks to become the ship's Chief of Security. Guided by an unwavering sense of honour and loyalty, Worf embodies the historic and political reconciliation between the United Federation of Planets and the Klingon Empire, establishing himself as one of the most emblematic figures in space pop culture.
