Origin and universe of the characters
This iconic duo embodies the renewal and diversity of the Spider-Man franchise across the alternate realities of the Marvel Multiverse. Miles Morales, a teenager from Brooklyn, acquires spider-like powers similar to those of Peter Parker, complemented by camouflage abilities and bio-electric discharges (Venom Blast), taking up the mantle of protector of New York after making heavy sacrifices. In her home dimension (Earth-65), it was the young Gwen Stacy who was bitten by the radioactive spider, becoming the agile and determined superheroine known as Ghost-Spider (or Spider-Gwen). Bound by a deep friendship and an obvious chemistry forged through their interdimensional journeys in the comics and hit animated films, these two young heroes fight side by side against cosmic threats to preserve the balance of the web of life.
