Character background and lore

Jack Frost is a recurring demon in the Megami Tensei franchise and one of the characters most closely associated with Atlus. Inspired by the folkloric figure of Jack Frost, the personification of cold and frost, in the games he takes the form of a mischievous little snow spirit. His highly recognisable design and his catchphrase ‘Hee-ho!’ have gradually made him the studio’s iconic mascot.

In the various instalments of Shin Megami Tensei, Jack Frost generally belongs to the family of demons associated with fairies and primarily uses ice-based abilities.
