SCREAM (2022) – Sidney Prescott – POP! Movies No. 2170

Meet Sidney Prescott, the iconic survivor of the Scream saga, with this POP! Movies No. 2170 figurine from Funko. Inspired by her appearance in Scream (2022), this edition reimagines the character played by Neve Campbell in the distinctive style of POP! figurines. Funko states the height as approximately 10.7 cm.

Sidney is depicted with her mid-length black hair, a brown jacket worn over a blue top, rolled-up jeans and ankle boots. She is also holding a handgun with both hands, in a pose that directly evokes her return to Woodsboro to face a new incarnation of Ghostface. The design reflects her more mature appearance in the fifth film in the franchise.

Character background and lore

Sidney Prescott has been the central character in the Scream franchise since the original 1996 film. After being targeted by several killers who have successively worn the Ghostface mask, she becomes one of Woodsboro’s most experienced survivors. Her story remains closely intertwined with those of Dewey Riley and Gale Weathers, alongside whom she faces several new waves of murders throughout the franchise.

In *Scream* (2022), twenty-five years after the first murders, a new person assumes the identity of Ghostface and targets a new generation of Woodsboro residents. Sidney then returns to town and joins forces with Dewey and Gale to help the new victims and confront this fresh threat. The armed pose chosen for this POP! No. 2170 directly references this more experienced and determined version of the character.
