Origin and backstory of the character
The character of Jigsaw, whose real name is John Kramer, hails from the famous horror thriller film series *Saw*, created by James Wan and Leigh Whannell in 2004. The plot centres on a man suffering from terminal cancer who decides to test his victims’ survival instincts through complex and deadly mechanical traps. Jigsaw does not consider himself a murderer; he seeks to force his subjects to appreciate the value of their own existence by making extreme physical sacrifices. This figurine draws direct inspiration from his dark design to celebrate one of the most memorable antagonists in 21st-century cinema. Its graphic style emphasises the old man’s piercing gaze and icy determination, ready to impose his sadistic rules upon collectors’ shelves.
