Origin and background of the character
Created by Yuto Suzuki, the phenomenally successful manga *Sakamoto Days* has quickly established itself as a modern benchmark in the shōnen genre, blending intense action with absurd humour. The plot follows Taro Sakamoto, a legendary assassin turned quiet, pot-bellied family man, forced to protect his corner shop from the hitmen hunting him down. Yoichi Nagumo is a former colleague of Sakamoto’s and one of the most powerful members of the ORDER, the elite organisation that oversees the world of assassins. Behind his perpetually relaxed demeanour, mischievous smile and constant pranks, Nagumo hides a formidable fighter and master of disguise, capable of wielding a gigantic multi-purpose Swiss Army knife packed with deadly weapons. This Funko Pop! figurine perfectly captures the laid-back, mysterious and elegant style of this essential professional assassin from the saga.
