Origin and character background
Shin Asakura is the indispensable secondary protagonist of the action-comedy manga Sakamoto Days, drawn and written by Yuto Suzuki. A former elite assassin nicknamed "Shin the Clairvoyant", he possesses the exceptional gift of telepathy, allowing him to read his opponents’ minds and anticipate their attacks at lightning speed. After crossing paths with the legendary Taro Sakamoto, Shin chooses to leave his criminal life behind to become a loyal employee at the Sakamoto convenience store, vowing to protect the peace of his new family and prevent his boss from returning to his old ways at all costs.
This superb figurine captures Shin in all his urban, laid-back glory, faithful to his graphic style in the series. It highlights his characteristic tousled blond hair, his determined gaze and his signature outfit, consisting of a hoodie and jeans with meticulously sculpted creases. The attention to the anatomy and the dynamics of the clothing creates a strikingly realistic effect, making this 22 cm figurine an essential item for all fans of the Sakamoto Days universe.
