Origin and world of the character (Lore)
Elizabeth II was born in 1926 and came to the throne on 6 February 1952 following the death of her father King George VI. She was officially crowned on 2 June 1953 at Westminster Abbey in a historic ceremony that was memorable for being the first to be broadcast in its entirety on television. Having enjoyed the longest reign in the history of the British monarchy, with over 70 years of devotion, she remains an iconic figure in contemporary history and international popular culture. This Premium Edition "Coronation" captures the solemn aesthetic and symbols of national sovereignty associated with the founding day of her official accession to the throne.
