Origin and world of the character
The character of Pikachu is the official global mascot of the Pokémon multimedia franchise, created by Satoshi Tajiri and Ken Sugimori in 1996 for the Game Freak video game studios and published by Nintendo. Born of the very first generation of pocket monsters discovered in the Kanto region, this Electric-type Pokémon has become a global cultural icon thanks to the animated TV series. In this work, it becomes the inseparable, stubborn and deeply loyal partner of the young trainer Sacha Ketchum (Satoshi). Always refusing to lock himself away in his Pokéball or evolve into a Raichu, Pikachu embodies unwavering friendship, perseverance and courage in the face of the challenges of the Battle Arena. This Premium Edition celebrates his legendary status with a sleek design that will delight all trainers nostalgic for the saga's video game and cartoon universe.
