Take one of the most iconic Pokémon from the first generation with you with this Bulbasaur rucksack, featuring a soft, fluffy finish. Made by CYP, it combines the instantly recognisable silhouette of the Grass/Poison-type Pokémon with a compact design ideal for outings, leisure activities and carrying small personal items.
The front features Bulbasaur’s face, complete with large embroidered red eyes, a subtle smile and the dark green markings on its forehead. Small raised ears complete the character’s design, whilst the light green fluffy fabric gives the bag a texture reminiscent of a soft toy. The front pocket is a darker shade and bears the inscription ‘#0001’, a reference to Bulbasaur’s first place in the National Pokédex. Its zip pull is also decorated with a small medallion inspired by a Poké Ball.
The bag features a main compartment accessed via a top-opening zip, as well as a zipped pocket at the front, which is handy for keeping small accessories separate from the main contents. At the back, two padded, adjustable shoulder straps allow you to customise how you carry it, whilst a top handle makes it easy to grip and hang up.
Measuring approximately 30 × 23 × 12 cm, this model remains compact enough for light everyday use. Its polyester construction and weight of around 380 grams make it both a functional accessory and a decorative merchandise item for Pokémon fans.
Bulbasaur is Pokémon No. 0001 in the National Pokédex and is of the Grass and Poison types. It carries a seed on its back from birth. This seed grows alongside it and provides the nutrients it needs during the early stages of its development.
It is one of the three starter Pokémon available in the Kanto region, alongside Charmander and Squirtle. Bulbasaur first evolves into Ivysaur, then into Venusaur. Its appearance, which combines animal and plant characteristics, as well as its status as the very first Pokémon listed in the Pokédex, have made it a particularly recognisable creature within the franchise.
