Character background and lore
Brook, nicknamed the ‘Soul King’, is the official musician and the ninth member to join the Straw Hat Crew in the legendary One Piece manga and anime created by Eiichiro Oda. A living skeleton brought back to life thanks to the powers of the Yomi Yomi no Mi (the Resurrection Fruit), he fights with elegance, wielding a cane-sword and using musical techniques capable of putting his enemies to sleep or freezing their souls. He is also famous for his distinctive laugh (“Yohohoho!”) and his recurring jokes about his undead condition.
This figurine is directly inspired bythe Egghead Arc, a major turning point in the story where Luffy and his crew land on the futuristic island of the brilliant and mysterious Marine scientist, Dr Vegapunk. Upon their arrival, the heroes swap their traditional clothing for advanced gear provided by local technology. Brook dons a protective suit with a sleek, scientific look and special magnetic shoes, perfectly suited to the infrastructure of this city of science. This model is a must-have for all fans who follow the series’ modern developments and latest story arcs.
