Meet Monkey D. Luffy – also known as Ruffy in this product listing – with this official 20 cm One Piece soft toy. Made from soft polyester, it offers a compact and stylised representation of the captain of the Straw Hat crew, suitable both for a collection of merchandise and for use as a soft toy.
Luffy is depicted sitting down, with a deliberately oversized head that emphasises his cheerful expression. His famous straw hat features prominently in the design, whilst his black hair, broad smile and the small scar beneath his left eye make the character instantly recognisable.
The soft toy wears a red outfit and shoes with soles featuring embroidered lines. The main features of the face are rendered using fabric details and embroidery, giving the overall design a finish suited to a soft toy. The combination of the beige hat, black hair and red outfit reflects the colours traditionally associated with Luffy.

Character background and lore
Monkey D. Luffy is the captain of the Straw Hat Pirates and the main hero of One Piece. Originally from the village of Fuchsia in the East Blue, he sets sail with a clear goal: to traverse the Grand Line, find the legendary One Piece and become the Pirate King. His straw hat was given to him as a child by Shanks the Red, with the promise that it would be returned to him once he had become a great pirate.
Luffy possesses the powers of a Devil Fruit long known as the Gomu Gomu no Mi. His body acquires elastic properties, which he gradually transforms into a highly personal fighting style, later complemented by his mastery of Haki. Revelations in the story also establish the true nature of his power as being linked to the Hito Hito no Mi, the mythical Nika model.
His character is defined by his optimism, his love of adventure and his unwavering loyalty to his companions. Luffy knows he could not complete his journey alone and regards the members of his crew as indispensable. This ability to trust others and act according to his own convictions enables him to gather a diverse range of allies around him throughout his journey.
The hat reproduced on this soft toy therefore holds special significance: it is not only Luffy’s most recognisable accessory, but also a symbol of the promise he made to Shanks, of his crew and of his ambition to become the Pirate King.
