Figurine Funko POP! TV No. 1878 - One Piece (Netflix) - Monkey D. Luffy
This vinyl figure represents the main protagonist, Monkey D. Luffy, as he appears in the Netflix live-action TV series based on the One Piece licence.
This model reproduces the pirate's visual characteristics, using the graphic style typical of the Funko POP! range, with an oversized head and simplified body. The character is shown standing in a dynamic posture, wearing his ever-popular woven straw hat moulded on his head, his red jacket open over his scarred torso, blue denim shorts and sandals, in perfect keeping with the graphic charter of the Live Action production. The markings under the character's name on the packaging read "Vinyl Figure", which refers to a figure with a fixed head.
Designed primarily for display on a shelf, on a desk or in a shop window, this collector's item comes in its original cardboard packaging with a transparent window so you can see the figure without opening the box.

Origin and world of the character (Lore)
Created by the famous mangaka Eiichiro Oda, Monkey D. Luffy is the intrepid young captain of the Straw Hat Crew. Having inadvertently ingested the Gomu Gomu no Mi (Fruit of the Rubber Tree) as a child, he has acquired an elastic body that allows him to stretch at will and withstand major physical shocks, to the detriment of his ability to swim. Driven by an unshakeable optimism and a deep sense of freedom, he travels the ocean of Grand Line to locate the legendary treasure left by Gol D. Roger and fulfil his ultimate dream: to become King of the Pirates. Netflix's worldwide live-action adaptation highlights his naive magnetism, his unifying spirit of adventure and his fierce determination to recruit a united team in the face of the dangers of the seas.
