Discover Monkey D. Luffy in his Gear 5 form with this collectable figurine from MegaHouse’s WALLSTAR range. This new collection offers two ways to display the figures: the figurine can remain in its illustrated blister pack, specially designed to be hung on the wall, or it can be removed from its packaging and placed on the stand provided.
This figurine captures all the exuberance of Gear 5, featuring Luffy’s characteristic white hair, his spiral eyebrows and his broad smile. He wears his white outfit with fur-like trim, a purple belt and his traditional sandals, whilst his straw hat remains tied to his back. The character strikes a highly dynamic, airborne pose, with one leg raised and one hand stretched out wide in front of him.
Large white swirls surround his body and visually extend his hair and clothing. A cloud-like effect also unfolds beneath his feet, adding to the figurine’s presentation and giving the impression that Luffy is leaping into the thick of battle. This sculpture thus makes the most of the deliberately exaggerated movements and physical freedom characteristic of Gear 5.

Character background and lore
Monkey D. Luffy reaches Gear 5 during the climax of his battle against Kaido on Onigashima. Just as he appears to have been defeated, his heart begins to beat at an unusual rhythm and his power awakens. The true capabilities of his Devil Fruit are then revealed: the fruit previously presented as the Gomu Gomu no Mi is in fact the Hito Hito no Mi, Mythical Model Nika.
This transformation is linked to Nika, a legendary figure nicknamed the ‘Warrior of Liberation’. Gear 5 grants Luffy even greater physical freedom than his previous transformations and allows him to fight in a deliberately unpredictable, exaggerated and almost cartoonish manner. Luffy himself regards this form as his ‘pinnacle’.
Visually, Gear 5 transforms his hair and clothes into white and causes cloud-like swirls to appear around him. His smile and laughter also become essential elements of this form, in keeping with Nika’s image as a figure who brings freedom and joy. The WALLSTAR figurine captures these characteristics precisely, emphasising an airy pose, wide-open movements and dramatic cloud-like effects around Luffy.
