Set sail and cross the Red Line alongside Monkey D. Luffy thanks to the playful plastic engineering of the Grand Ship Collection range developed by Bandai Spirits.
The Thousand Sunny comes to life in this compact version, which is geometrically faithful to the original. The model immediately stands out thanks to its famous, radiant lion-head figurehead, which conceals the formidable Gaon Cannon. The injection-moulded plastic hull combines shades of wood-effect brown, bright red and white, perfectly capturing the festive and high-tech look of this true masterpiece of shipbuilding from Water Seven.
A grass-covered deck and the Soldier Dock System:
The visual appeal of this model lies in its refined aesthetics and numerous sculpted details. The kit includes:
- A large, pre-printed curved white mainsail featuring the official Jolly Roger (the skull with the straw hat).
- The main deck, covered in green grass and topped with a white telescopic lookout.
- The two side paddle wheels bearing the number ‘1’, mimicking the openings of the Soldier Dock System.
- The castle-shaped aft cabin, topped with two mandarin trees and the office canopy.
A dual display option and translucent marine effects:
True to the collection’s versatility, the set includes a clever dual-base system. When assembling the model, you can choose to display the ship at rest on a standard blue oval base, or to remove the lower part of the hull (Waterline configuration) to slot it into two superb clear blue plastic wave effect pieces. This feature allows you to simulate dynamic navigation on the open sea right on your display shelves.
