This impressive MegaHouse figurine from the Portrait.Of.Pirates collection pays tribute to Loki, the ‘Cursed Prince’ of the kingdom of Warland in the Elbaf arc of One Piece. Part of the P.O.P ‘Elevated Boost’ project and marketed under the name ELB-MAXIMUM, it captures the giant’s extraordinary proportions in a piece measuring approximately 31 cm in total height and no less than 41 cm in width. This is the second release announced in this new series dedicated to characters from the Elbaf arc.
Loki is depicted in the Forest of Hell in Elbaf, held captive by the heavy marine granite chains used to neutralise his powers. Crouching on a snow-covered rocky outcrop, he rests his gigantic hammer, Ragnir, on his shoulder; the hammer’s mass and irregular surfaces have been meticulously sculpted. The chains are integrated directly into the composition and reinforce the impression of weight and power that the piece exudes.
The sculpture captures the key features of Loki’s appearance: his gigantic body, his two long horns, his thick, rosy-hued hair and his imposing purple fur cloak. His facial expression has been specially crafted to appear different depending on the angle from which the figurine is viewed.
The cloak has been rendered in exceptional detail, with numerous individually sculpted strands and varying shades designed to emphasise its volume. The contrast between the purple fur, the character’s skin, the metallic elements, the dark chains and the snow-covered backdrop allows the different textures of the composition to be clearly distinguished. The Ragnir hammer is also a key element of the figure, with its enormous bluish head, which has been deliberately rendered with pronounced, irregular features.

Character background and lore
Loki is a prince of the kingdom of Warland, situated on the island of Elbaf, home to the giants in One Piece. He is the son of King Harald, regarded as one of the greatest rulers in Elbaf’s history. Despite this prestigious lineage, Loki has an extremely dark reputation amongst his own people, who call him the ‘Cursed Prince’. His exceptional height and horns are linked to characteristics inherited from the ancient giants.
The official account initially portrays him as responsible for numerous crimes, notably the death of his father Harald, in connection with events surrounding the legendary Devil Fruit passed down through the royal family. However, the exact circumstances surrounding this event become one of the major narrative threads of the Elbaf arc, as the story gradually delves into Harald’s past and what really happened at Aurust Castle.
Six years before the current events, Loki is captured by Shanks and then taken back to Elbaf. He is subsequently imprisoned in the area known as ‘the Underworld’, at the foot of the Adam Treasure Tree, where he remains bound by chains of marine granite. It is precisely this period in the character’s life that MegaHouse has recreated with the ELB-MAXIMUM figurine.
Loki has a special World Government bounty of 2.6 billion berrys, illustrating the level of threat attributed to him. Despite his captivity, he retains phenomenal strength and a provocative personality. His encounter with Monkey D. Luffy in the Underworld of Elbaf quickly places the prince at the centre of the arc’s events.
His weapon is Ragnir, a gigantic hammer that plays a significant role in his story. In recent events in the anime, Loki notably manages to use Ragnir to strike the Adam Treasure Tree, causing a powerful electric discharge visible as far as the upper levels of Elbaf. The weapon, the chains and the snow-covered setting of this scene are thus three of the key elements that MegaHouse has chosen to incorporate into this P.O.P ELB-MAXIMUM figure.
