Character background and universe (Lore)

OMGkawaiiAngel, also known as KAngel, is the virtual streamer persona adopted by Ame in *Needy Streamer Overload*. The game follows the daily life of a young woman striving to become an internet celebrity whilst managing her popularity, her emotional state and her relationship with the person supporting her in her career.

Under the identity of OMGkawaiiAngel, Ame adopts a much more radiant, energetic and exaggeratedly positive personality than in her private life. She presents herself as a true ‘internet angel’ destined to bring love and happiness to her subscribers.

This public image stands in stark contrast to her real personality, which is more fragile, anxious and dependent on the attention she receives online. This disconnect between the streamer’s perfect image and Ame’s personal struggles is one of the game’s central themes.

With her vibrant design, pastel-coloured hair and aesthetic inspired by idols, VTubers and Japanese internet culture, OMGkawaiiAngel has become one of the most recognisable figures in Needy Streamer Overload.
