Based on Naruto Shippuden, this Banpresto figurine depicts Naruto Uzumaki in the form he took upon his return to Konoha during the Pain arc. Part of the BANPRE KUJI PREMIUM range, this ‘The Metallic’ version stands approximately 30 cm tall and features the same sculpt as the ‘The Anime’ and ‘The Brush’ variants, with a special metallic-effect paint finish.
Naruto wears his orange and black Shippuden outfit, complemented by the long red cloak characteristic of his return from Mount Myôboku. One hand rests on the large scroll placed vertically beside him, whilst the other is resting on his hip. The long ties of his headband trail behind his head, adding movement to this deliberately upright and imposing composition.
The ‘The Metallic’ variant stands out above all for its paint finish: the red cape and the orange parts of the outfit feature a pronounced metallic sheen, giving a brighter appearance than the ‘The Anime’ and ‘The Brush’ versions. This variant also depicts Naruto with Hermit Mode eyes and his mouth open in an energetic expression. The three editions therefore use the same sculpture but feature different visual styles and expressions.
Following Jiraiya’s death, Naruto travels to Mount Myôboku to learn senjutsu from Fukasaku. This training teaches him to absorb and balance natural energy with his own chakra, enabling him to enter Hermit Mode. This transformation is particularly recognisable by the pigmented markings around his eyes and his altered pupils.
Whilst he is away, Pain launches a massive attack on Konoha and uses his Shinra Tensei to devastate the village. Naruto then returns from Mount Myôboku and immediately engages in battle against Pain’s Six Paths, utilising his new Sage abilities as well as techniques such as the Fûton – Rasen Shuriken and the Frog Kumite.
This appearance marks a significant moment in his development: Naruto, once rejected by a large proportion of the village’s inhabitants, now returns as one of its principal defenders. The cape and large scroll depicted on this Premium Figure are direct references to this iconic period, whilst the ‘The Metallic’ finish offers a more brilliant and stylised interpretation designed for display.
