Character origin and lore
In the Naruto Shippuden universe, Kakuzu is an S-rank ninja from the Hidden Waterfall Village (Takigakure). As the obsessive treasurer of Akatsuki, he forms a team with the fanatic Hidan, nicknamed the ‘immortal duo’. Having survived since the time of the First Hokage thanks to his forbidden technique, Jiren Shasho (The Fear of the Vengeful Earth), Kakuzu can rip out and incorporate the hearts of his defeated enemies into his own body. This ability grants him mastery over five distinct elemental chakra affinities and extends his life indefinitely. During the Team 10 Revenge arc, he unleashes his full destructive power against Kakashi Hatake and Shikamaru Nara. This superb MASTERLISE figurine immortalises this monster of experience, the ultimate symbol of greed and longevity in its purest form.
