Origin and background of the character
Hashirama Senju, universally hailed as the legendary ‘God of Shinobi’, is one of the major historical figures in the masterful Naruto series created by Masashi Kishimoto. A charismatic leader of the Senju clan of the Forest, he joined forces with his eternal rival and friend Madara Uchiha to bring an end to the bloody era of warring provinces and found the very first hidden ninja village, Konoha, thereby inspiring the creation of all other nations. As the first Hokage in history, he established the Will of Fire, a transmissible philosophy of peace that places the protection of the village and its inhabitants as the absolute priority. The sole natural user of Mokuton, an occult ability combining the affinities of water and earth to manipulate and generate living flora on a titanic scale, he was also capable of instantly mastering Hermit Mode without any preparation. Banpresto’s “Figure Life” collection draws on all its expertise to reproduce with surgical precision his long black hair, his period-style red plate armour, and the expression of majestic benevolence in his gaze.
