Meet Gaara, the powerful ninja from the Hidden Sand Village, with this PLAYMOBIL Naruto Shippuden figure. This version brings Masashi Kishimoto’s iconic character to life in PLAYMOBIL’s signature style, whilst retaining his key visual features.
Gaara is depicted with his reddish-brown hair, turquoise eyes and distinctive burgundy outfit. Most notably, he carries his famous sand gourd on his back – an accessory inseparable from the character and a central element of his fighting techniques. PLAYMOBIL explains that this flask contains sand imbued with chakra, which he uses for both attacking and defending.
The set includes a Gaara figure and his sand jar, and forms part of the PLAYMOBIL collection dedicated to Naruto Shippuden. Its compact size makes it easy to combine with other ninjas from the series to recreate battles from the manga and anime, or to build a collection dedicated to the Naruto universe.

Gaara is a ninja from Sunagakure, the Hidden Village of Sand. From the moment of his birth, he became the vessel for Shukaku, the One-Tailed Demon, which grants him immense powers but also condemns him to a childhood marked by fear and rejection by the inhabitants of his village.
His main ability lies in the manipulation of sand. Gaara carries a supply of sand in the large gourd strapped to his back and uses it to create attacks, defences or actual armour. Some of this sand even acts automatically to protect him from attacks.
When he meets Naruto Uzumaki, Gaara recognises in him someone who has experienced a loneliness comparable to his own. This encounter profoundly transforms his view of the world: instead of seeking to live solely for himself, he resolves to protect others and sets his sights on becoming the Kazekage. He eventually attains the title of Fifth Kazekage, leader and protector of the Sand Village.
In Naruto Shippuden, Gaara thus plays a major role as the young village leader and an ally of Naruto. His evolution, from an isolated child regarded as a weapon to a respected leader capable of risking his life for his people, is one of the most memorable journeys in the series.
This PLAYMOBIL Gaara figurine captures the essential elements of his identity, notably his outfit, his appearance and, above all, his iconic sand gourd.
