Origin and background of the character
Created by Kōhei Horikoshi, the My Hero Academia universe depicts a modern society where almost the entire population is born with superpowers known as ‘Alters’ (Quirks). Izuku Midoriya, nicknamed Deku, is an ordinary teenager born without any powers, but whose selfless dedication prompts the legendary All Might to pass on his own transferable Quirk: ‘One For All’. To withstand the colossal physical strain of this energy during battles at U.A. High School, Deku upgrades his hero suit by incorporating special gloves. This Funko Pop! figurine faithfully captures this crucial technical upgrade, making it an essential addition for all collectors and hero trainers.
