MY HERO ACADEMIA - Nejire Hado - Figure Glitter & Glamours 21cm

From My Hero Academia, this Banpresto figurine depicts Nejire Hado, one of the three students who make up Yuei’s prestigious Big Three. Part of the Glitter & Glamours range, it stands approximately 21 cm tall and corresponds to the product officially marketed as Nejire Hado II – Ver.A. This collection places particular emphasis on the characters’ silhouettes, expressions and finishes in a larger format than traditional prize figures.

Nejire is depicted in her blue heroine outfit, striking a light and expressive pose: her upper body leaning forwards, her head tilted slightly and her hands placed behind her back. This pose emphasises her curious and playful nature more than a battle scene would. Her short, wavy hairstyle reflects her more recent appearance, with carefully sculpted light blue strands.

Her outfit combines various shades of navy blue, turquoise and light blue, with a high collar and patterns that accentuate different parts of the ensemble. Accessories are attached at thigh level, whilst a turquoise element spirals round one of her legs. Banpresto states that they have paid particular attention to the facial expression, the folds in the clothing and the ‘glittering’ effect characteristic of the Glitter & Glamours range.

Fully pre-painted and non-articulated, this PVC figurine is intended for display. Its 21 cm size makes it ideal for adding to a collection dedicated to Yuei students, the Big Three or the heroines of My Hero Academia.

Character background and universe (Lore)

Nejire Hado is a third-year student on the Hero Course at Yuei High School. Together with Mirio Togata and Tamaki Amajiki, she forms the Big Three, a group comprising three of the school’s most outstanding students. The anime’s official website also highlights the particularly strong bonds that unite Nejire with Mirio and Tamaki.

Her Alter, Wave Motion (‘Wave’), allows her to transform her own vitality into energy and release it in the form of shockwaves. These follow a distinctive spiral trajectory and can be used both to attack and to enhance her aerial manoeuvrability. Despite the considerable power at her disposal, her Alter therefore relies directly on her own energy reserves.

Nejire is also known for her extremely curious and sociable personality. Whenever something catches her attention, she doesn’t hesitate to ask lots of questions, sometimes with disarming spontaneity. This cheerful disposition contrasts with her status as an experienced fighter and with the power that has earned her a reputation as one of Yuei’s best students.

This Glitter & Glamours figurine specifically highlights this radiant side of the character: rather than depicting Nejire using Wave Motion, Banpresto has opted for a relaxed, smiling pose, which better showcases her personality and her heroine’s costume.
