Origin and character background
Dekusheep is the official and poetic animal version of Izuku Midoriya (nicknamed Deku), the big-hearted central protagonist of the global phenomenon My Hero Academia, created by manga artist Kohei Horikoshi. Heir to the power of One For All, Deku is characterised by his deeply benevolent nature, his perseverance and his spirit of self-sacrifice to protect others. Here, he is reimagined as a peaceful little sheep, a metaphorical choice that highlights the purity of his soul, his natural gentleness and his initially shy temperament before entering the superhero arena.
This 7 cm figurine from the "Fluffy Puffy" collection perfectly captures all the cuteness and comforting appeal of this anthropomorphic design. The sculpture meticulously highlights its large, expressive eyes full of hope, its small round cheeks, and its curly, verdant fleece, reminiscent of Izuku’s signature tousled hair. It is an absolute must-have for any collector wishing to add a touch of originality, whimsy and offbeat humour to their display, forming a perfect pairing with the canine version of his historic rival.
