MY DRESSUP DARLING - Marin Kitagawa - Figure Glitter & Glamours 25cm

Marin Kitagawa figurine in a checked outfit — Sexy Cosplay Doll — Glitter & Glamours — 25 cm

See Marin Kitagawa in an elegant and modern outfit with this collectable figurine from Banpresto’s Glitter & Glamours range. Standing approximately 25 cm tall, she depicts the heroine of Sexy Cosplay Doll – also known internationally as My Dress-Up Darling – in a confident pose that showcases her fashion sense and cheerful personality.

Marin wears a matching reddish-brown ensemble consisting of a long jacket and beige checked shorts. A fitted black top with a high collar completes the outfit, whilst red heeled ankle boots complement the warm colour scheme of the ensemble. The regular check pattern of the clothing and the carefully sculpted pleats add depth to this particularly well-crafted version of the character.

The figurine strikes a relaxed pose, with her legs slightly apart, one arm folded across her chest and one hand resting near her face. Marin wears a subtle smile whilst closing one eye in a knowing expression. Her long blonde hair, finished with a deep pink gradient, falls in wavy strands down her back and is one of the sculpture’s key visual features.

Thanks to its large size and the attention paid to the figure’s silhouette, hair and fabric details, this figurine fits perfectly into a collection dedicated to Marin Kitagawa, the world of cosplay or the Glitter & Glamours range.

Character background and lore

Marin Kitagawa is a popular, sociable and self-assured sixth-former who also works as a model for magazines. Passionate about manga, video games and animation, she dreams of bringing her favourite characters to life through cosplay, but lacks the skills to make the costumes herself.

Her meeting with Wakana Gojo, a quiet classmate who specialises in making traditional hina dolls, marks the beginning of their collaboration. Wakana’s sewing skills enable Marin to bring her cosplay projects to life, whilst their shared passion gradually brings them closer together. Enthusiastic, spontaneous and respectful of others’ tastes, Marin takes centre stage in a story dedicated to creativity, self-acceptance and the joy of sharing one’s passions.
