MINECRAFT - Creeper - 'SoftGlo' Fluffy Décorative Lamp

Rediscover one of Minecraft’s most iconic monsters with this 30 cm Fluffy SoftGlo Creeper lamp, produced by Paladone. Designed as a decorative table lamp, it features the Creeper’s instantly recognisable cubic shape whilst adding a soft, fluffy fabric finish.

The distinctive feature of this SoftGlo version is its fluffy covering, which gives the famous explosive enemy a much softer appearance than in the game. When switched on, the lamp casts a soft, atmospheric glow perfect for a bedroom, a study or a Minecraft-themed gaming area.

Standing 30 cm tall, it is substantial enough to serve as a decorative feature in its own right. Power is supplied via a USB cable attached directly to the lamp, allowing for easy placement on a piece of furniture near a compatible USB port.

Origin and lore of the creature

The Creeper is one of Minecraft’s most famous hostile creatures. Recognisable by its green body, lack of arms and distinctive face, it moves silently through the Overworld and seeks to get close enough to the player to trigger its attack.

Unlike many enemies, the Creeper does not strike its target directly: when it gets close, it begins to emit a hissing sound similar to a burning wick, then explodes a few moments later if it is not killed or moved far enough away. This explosion can inflict significant damage on the player and destroy surrounding blocks.

The creature also has a few distinctive traits that have become famous in the game. Notably, Creepers try to avoid cats, whilst a Creeper struck by lightning becomes a Charged Creeper, surrounded by an electric aura and capable of causing an even more powerful explosion.

This 30 cm Fluffy SoftGlo Creeper lamp thus transforms one of Minecraft’s most feared enemies into a deliberately softer and more decorative light, whilst retaining its iconic pixelated silhouette.
