Origin and world of the character
Nicknamed the "King of Pop", Michael Jackson was an American singer-songwriter, dancer and choreographer whose career profoundly influenced the history of the music industry. This figurine specifically commemorates his performance during the half-time show at Super Bowl XXVII, which took place on 31 January 1993 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. This live event was watched by tens of millions of television viewers around the world, consolidating the tradition of large-scale concerts during this sporting final. The costume shown is directly inspired by the stylish black and gold military outfit he wore on stage at the opening of his singing tour.
