Character background and lore
Released in 1987, *Bad* is Michael Jackson’s seventh studio album and one of the greatest successes in music history, driven by the eponymous 18-minute short film directed by filmmaker Martin Scorsese. For this track and its iconic music video, set in a New York subway station, the artist underwent a radical artistic and visual shift, abandoning his more classic style to adopt an aggressive, ‘street’ biker aesthetic. The memorable choreography, featuring street dancers, showcases powerful movements and a syncopated rhythm that would redefine the standards of music videos worldwide. This figurine captures the raw charisma and revolutionary fashion style of that legendary era, allowing fans to celebrate the visual audacity, stage creativity and indelible cultural impact of the King of Pop.
