Discover PUNI☆MOFU Lin, the latest original creation in Kotobukiya’s Megami Device range. This articulated 1/1 scale model kit measures approximately 15 cm when assembled and combines a compact bishōjo-style silhouette with highly articulated mechanical features. Lin joins the PUNI☆MOFU series alongside Mao and Tu, with a brand-new design inspired by the qilin, a legendary creature from East Asia.
The character design is by the illustrator BLADE and is based on the Machineca Block2-S body, a smaller version of the Block2-M system designed by Masaki Apsy. Lin can be displayed in Unarmed Mode, with a more streamlined silhouette, or in Armed Mode, fully equipped with her armour and weapons. The articulation system allows for the reproduction of standing or sitting poses as well as more dynamic combat positions.
Her primary armament consists of the two blades, Seirintou-Blitz and Seirintou-Bolt. These can be used separately or joined together to form a piece of equipment on which Lin can ride, much like a skateboard. Kintorin roller skates complete this speed-oriented configuration. The kit also includes interchangeable long and short pigtails, three pre-painted and pre-printed faces, stickers, various connecting parts and a display stand.

Lin is an original character created for Megami Device, Kotobukiya’s range of model kits combining bishōjo-style female characters, mechanical armour and modular weapon systems. Each Megami is based on an articulated body called Machineca, designed by Masaki Apsy, to which armour and equipment—conceived in collaboration with various illustrators—are added.
According to the range’s concept, Megami Devices are customisable units designed for robot combat, with the construction and modification of the model forming an integral part of the series’ identity. Standardised 3 mm connectors thus allow weapons, armour and components from numerous other Kotobukiya collections to be combined.
More specifically, Lin belongs to the PUNI☆MOFU family and, like Mao and Tu, features the small Machineca Block2-S body. However, her identity is distinguished by a theme inspired by the qilin and by kit that is particularly geared towards mobility. Her two Seirintou blades can be combined to form a platform that the character can use, whilst the Kintorin skates further emphasise this focus on speed.
Unlike a figure adapted from a specific manga or anime, PUNI☆MOFU Lin is first and foremost an original creation from the Megami Device universe, designed with assembly, articulation and customisation in mind. Her ‘Armed’ and ‘Unarmed’ configurations, as well as her compatibility with numerous other ranges, allow her appearance to be significantly altered once assembled.
