Character background and universe (Lore)

Frank Castle, better known as The Punisher, is one of the most formidable anti-heroes in the Marvel universe. A former soldier, he wages a personal war against crime, drawing on his combat experience, his mastery of firearms and his particularly relentless determination.

Unlike many Marvel superheroes, Frank Castle possesses no supernatural powers. His main strengths lie in his military training, his endurance, his tactical prowess and his ability to utilise an impressive arsenal. His famous white skull has become one of Marvel’s most instantly recognisable symbols.

In Marvel Rivals, The Punisher retains this identity as a heavily armed fighter whilst adopting much more futuristic kit. Hasbro describes him as a specialist capable of wielding a whole arsenal of advanced weapons, determined to mete out his own brand of justice to his enemies.

This Marvel Legends figure accurately captures this video game incarnation thanks to its weapons, firing effects and design directly inspired by the game, offering a modern and particularly dynamic take on Frank Castle.
