MARVEL - I am Groot - Sherpa Jacket (XXL)

Show your love for Groot and the Guardians of the Galaxy with this official Marvel Sherpa fleece jacket, manufactured by Cotton Division. It features a soft, textured brown finish, directly inspired by the woody hues of the famous member of the Guardians of the Galaxy. 

The jacket features a fleece-style cut with a high collar and a half-zip fastening at the front. Two side pockets are incorporated at the bottom. A Guardians of the Galaxy-inspired badge appears on the chest, whilst a second motif is featured on the sleeve. The back is the main graphic feature, featuring the large ‘I AM GROOT’ inscription in shades of beige and brown. The design is therefore relatively understated from the front, whilst clearly showcasing the licence on the back.

Character background and universe (Lore)

Groot is an alien plant-like being who has become one of the most recognisable members of the Guardians of the Galaxy. Despite his imposing appearance and extremely limited vocabulary – generally summed up by the phrase ‘I am Groot’ – he stands out for his loyalty to his companions and his ability to protect his team. Marvel presents him as one of the central characters in this cosmic ensemble. 

Groot possesses remarkable regenerative abilities and can survive injuries that would be fatal to most living beings. His partnership with Rocket has also become one of the most iconic duos in the Marvel cosmic universe.
