MARVEL - Doctor Doom - Men Christmas Sweaters (XXL)

Show off one of the Marvel Universe’s most iconic villains this festive season with this men’s Christmas jumper dedicated to Doctor Doom. Designed by Cotton Division under official Marvel licence, this design combines the traditional look of a Christmas jumper with the instantly recognisable visual identity of the ruler of Latveria.

The jumper features a black base adorned with green and white patterns. At the centre of the chest is the masked face of Doctor Doom, framed by his green hood, accompanied by his name, ‘Doctor Doom’. The design is completed by geometric patterns, snowflakes and small Christmas trees, echoing the classic graphic motifs of festive jumpers.

Origin and character background (Lore)

Doctor Doom, also known in French as Docteur Fatalis, is one of the Fantastic Four’s main adversaries and one of the most important characters in the Marvel universe. Behind his armour lies Victor von Doom, a brilliant scientist, inventor and specialist in the mystical arts.

Victor Doom reigns over the fictional country of Latveria, of which he is the absolute ruler. His exceptional intelligence enables him to devise extremely advanced technologies, whilst his knowledge of magic makes him an adversary capable of taking on both scientific heroes and practitioners of the mystical arts.

His rivalry with Reed Richards, alias Mr Fantastic, is one of the central themes of his story. Convinced of his own superiority and convinced that he is the only one capable of imposing lasting order on the world, Doom regularly oscillates between the roles of tyrant, adversary to the heroes and temporary ally when his own interests align with those of the Marvel Universe.
