Take a little piece of the Shire with you with this Hobbiton keyring, inspired by the world of *The Lord of the Rings*. Manufactured by Pyramid International under official licence, this accessory features one of the most recognisable visual elements of the Hobbits’ village: a round green door reminiscent of the homes carved into the hills of Hobbiton.
The circular pendant is made from PVC and depicts a door with vertical green planks, surrounded by a brick-style frame. The design is completed by a metal ring and a short strap, allowing the keyring to be easily attached to a bunch of keys, a bag or a zip. The official packaging describes it as a ‘Spinner Keychain’ and features a stylised map of Middle-earth in the background.
With its compact size and instantly recognisable design, this keyring is a practical accessory to carry with your keys every day, whilst offering a subtle nod to Tolkien’s universe.
Hobbiton is a village in the Shire, a peaceful region of Middle-earth inhabited mainly by Hobbits. It is here that Bag End is situated, the home of Bilbo and later Frodo Baggins, recognisable by its large round green door set into a hill.
Hobbiton is the starting point for many of the great adventures imagined by J.R.R. Tolkien. Its architecture, comprising semi-underground houses, lush gardens and circular doors, contrasts with the more dangerous regions traversed during the quest for the One Ring. The design chosen for this key ring captures precisely this characteristic aesthetic of the Shire.
