Origin and background of the character
Created by Matt Groening in 1989, the satirical animated series The Simpsons is an unmissable landmark in television and global pop culture. It depicts the daily life of the American middle class with biting humour through the lens of a famous dysfunctional family living in the town of Springfield. The father, Homer Simpson, is known for his excessive love of fatty food and unhealthy eating habits. Krusty Burger is the fictional local fast-food chain, run by the cynical Krusty the Clown, where Homer spends much of his free time ordering greasy burgers and chips. This Funko Pop! figurine captures this iconic aspect of the character with amusing accuracy, complete with a meal tray in hand – a must-have for all fans of the Springfield universe.
