Origin and character background
The Mouth of Sauron is a striking and terrifying secondary antagonist in the fantasy saga The Lord of the Rings, making a memorable appearance in the extended edition of the film The Return of the King. One of the most loyal and deceitful lieutenants of the Tower of Barad-dûr, this infamous messenger has completely forgotten his own name through his devotion to his occult master. Appearing on horseback before the armies of the West at the Black Gate, he wears a unique full-face helmet that conceals all his features except for a monstrous, distorted and sinister grin. Tasked with negotiating and undermining the morale of Aragorn and Gandalf’s troops by brandishing Froquet’s mithril chainmail, he embodies the voice of absolute malice. This figurine stands out as a prime piece to crown a collection dedicated to the iconic figures of Middle-earth.
