Recreate one of the most enchanting scenes from *Howl’s Moving Castle* with this 950-piece panoramic jigsaw puzzle published by Ensky. The illustration showcases Howl’s secret garden, a vast natural landscape hidden behind one of the castle’s magical doors. Once assembled, the jigsaw measures approximately 102 × 34 cm and forms a large horizontal image suitable for framing and display.
The composition depicts a peaceful valley criss-crossed by several bodies of water with blue reflections. Meadows covered in wildflowers stretch all the way to the mountains, whilst large white clouds stand out against a bright sky. This lush, open landscape contrasts with the mechanical, dark and chaotic appearance of the moving castle.
The panoramic format particularly highlights the depth of the scene and the succession of different planes: flowers in the foreground, lakes and streams in the centre, and mountainous terrain on the horizon.
With its 950 standard-sized pieces, this jigsaw puzzle offers a sustained challenge to puzzle enthusiasts. Its landscape, rich in shades of green, blue and white, produces, once completed, a decorative illustration that is both luminous and soothing.
In *Howl’s Moving Castle*, Sophie discovers that the castle’s magical door provides access to various places depending on the colour selected by its dial. One of these passages leads to Howl’s secret garden, an unspoilt valley filled with flowers, lakes and mountains.
Howl reveals to Sophie that he discovered this place during his childhood and that he has gradually transformed it into a refuge. Far from the war, the cities and the obligations tied to his magic, this landscape represents for him a private space where he can rediscover a sense of freedom and tranquillity.
The garden also plays an important role in bringing Howl and Sophie closer together. Behind his apparent carefree nature and theatrical elegance, Howl reveals a more vulnerable side to his personality there. This peaceful place thus becomes a symbol of his memories, his attachment to Sophie and his desire to preserve a world threatened by war.
