Meet Kanki, one of the most formidable and unpredictable generals in *Kingdom*, with this imposing figurine from Banpresto / Bandai Spirits’ Grandista collection. Standing approximately 28 cm tall, it showcases the character’s imposing presence with a massive sculpt, detailed armour and a calm demeanour that contrasts with his reputation as a particularly brutal strategist.
The figure incorporates several distinctive features of his appearance: segmented purple armour, gold detailing, a wide, dark, feather-like collar, a long light-coloured cape and a sabre worn at his belt. His black hair is tied up high and his stern expression reinforces his air of a self-assured commander.
This release is part of the Grandista range, known for offering large-scale, static figures with a strong visual presence. Several retailers confirm a height of approximately 28 cm and that this version of Kanki is made from PVC.
Kanki is one of the major generals of the Kingdom of Qin in Kingdom. A former bandit leader, he stands in stark contrast to traditional military commanders due to his unorthodox methods, his keen understanding of psychology and his ability to exploit his opponents’ weaknesses.
His command style relies more on cunning, intimidation and manipulation than on the conventional application of military doctrine. This unpredictability makes him extremely difficult to contend with, even for experienced strategists.
Kanki also cultivates a deliberately provocative and dangerous image. His army retains many traits from its bandit origins, and his tactics can be particularly cruel, earning him as much fear as respect.
The Grandista figurine captures this duality well: his relatively relaxed posture and sheathed sabre give the impression of a character who is perfectly in control of the situation, whilst his stern gaze and imposing attire reinforce his menacing aura.
