Decorate your home with Derpy Tiger, one of the most recognisable characters from K-Pop Demon Hunters, with this framed print produced by Pyramid International. Measuring approximately 35 x 45 cm, it’s ready to hang on a wall, in a bedroom, an office or a space dedicated to merchandise from the Netflix animated film.
The artwork focuses entirely on Derpy, depicted with three different expressions that highlight her deliberately strange yet endearing appearance. Her turquoise-blue fur and large yellow eyes stand out against a dark background with hints of pink and purple. The name ‘DERPY’ appears in large letters at the top, whilst the KPop Demon Hunters logo completes the design at the bottom.

Derpy Tiger is a supernatural tiger from the demon world in KPop Demon Hunters. Initially linked to Jinu, she quickly stands out for behaving much more like a giant domestic cat than a menacing creature: she purrs when stroked, is clumsy and displays particularly expressive affection. Netflix states that his design is inspired by the babo horangi, the ‘silly’ or naive tiger found in minhwa, the traditional Korean folk art that developed particularly during the Joseon Dynasty.
As the story unfolds, Derpy also becomes very close to Rumi. Accompanied by Sussie, a supernatural magpie, he acts as a messenger between Rumi and Jinu. Unlike those who judge Rumi for his nature, Derpy shows him immediate and unreserved affection, gradually becoming one of his most loyal companions.
His role thus goes beyond that of a mere comic animal: Derpy also embodies the bond between Rumi and Jinu and steps in at a crucial moment to remind Jinu of the importance of this relationship. Her combination of demonic appearance, exaggerated expressions and feline behaviour explains why her various facial expressions take centre stage in the image chosen for this framed print.
