Meet Ryu Ishigori, one of the most formidable fighters encountered in the Culling Game, with this figurine from Bandai Spirits’ MASTERLISE EXPIECE / Ichibansho collection.
Standing approximately 20 cm tall, the figurine showcases the character’s imposing silhouette, his spectacular hairstyle and his confident demeanour. Its design perfectly captures Ryu’s combative spirit, as he is always on the lookout for a confrontation capable of satisfying his immense appetite for battle.
This version is part of the MASTERLISE EXPIECE range, designed to offer non-articulated figures with a strong visual presence. It forms a natural complement to the other figures from the Culling Game Arc -Second-, notably Yuta Okkotsu, Kenjaku and Rika.
Ryu Ishigori is a powerful exorcist from the past who has been reincarnated to take part in the Culling Game. He is distinguished above all by one extraordinary characteristic: his extremely high output of occult energy, described as one of the highest known amongst the participants of this era.
During the Culling Game, Ryu becomes one of the leading fighters in the Sendai colony, alongside Takako Uro, Dhruv Lakdawalla and Kurourushi, amongst others. The balance of power between these various, particularly powerful opponents creates a stalemate until the arrival of Yuta Okkotsu.
Ryu’s fighting style is closely linked to his ability to project large quantities of occult energy. His most iconic attack, Granite Blast, allows him to unleash a powerful burst of energy from his distinctive hairstyle. Even more than victory itself, Ryu seeks above all the experience of a fight intense enough to finally satisfy his insatiable thirst for confrontation.
This philosophy is often compared to a meal: Ryu regards his life as something that has left him feeling unsatisfied, and seeks, within the Culling Game, the fight capable of finally offering him his true ‘dessert’. His clash with Yuta thus becomes one of the most memorable battles in the Sendai colony.
This MASTERLISE EXPIECE figurine accurately captures this imposing presence and absolute confidence, making Ryu Ishigori a natural addition to the other characters in the Culling Game Arc -Second- collection .
