Origin and background of the character
Yuji Itadori is the pure-hearted central protagonist of the dark fantasy epic Jujutsu Kaisen, the shonen masterpiece created by mangaka Gege Akutami. An ordinary high school student with innate superhuman physical abilities, his life is turned upside down the day he swallows a high-grade cursed object to save his friends, becoming the host of the legendary and cruel King of Curses, Ryomen Sukuna. Sentenced to a suspended execution, he joins the Tokyo Exorcism School under the tutelage of the powerful Satoru Gojo. Driven by a promise made to his grandfather to help others so he might ‘die surrounded’, Yuji masters the mysteries of the Divergent Fist and the Black Ray (Kokuho) to defeat cursed spirits.
This 7 cm figure from the "Q Posket Petit" collection perfectly captures all the young man’s good-natured charm and natural confidence, despite his small stature. The sculpt meticulously highlights his distinctive spiky pink hair with black highlights, his captivating large eyes with a glossy finish, as well as the pleated details of his customised exorcist uniform, including his famous red hoodie worn under his dark jacket. This is an absolute must-have for any collector keen to assemble the trio of second-year students in mini format and add a touch of depth, dynamism and cuteness to their display.
