History and background of the model
Created by mangaka Gege Akutami, Rika Orimoto is a key character in the prequel film Jujutsu Kaisen 0. Following her tragic death in a road accident in front of her childhood friend Yuta Okkotsu, Yuta's immense grief and refusal to let her go unintentionally transforms her into a particularly unstable upper-class cursed spirit. Nicknamed "The Queen of Plagues" because of her almost limitless supply of occult energy, she manifests aggressively to protect Yuta from the slightest threat, before he learns to seal and then release her spirit at Tokyo's exorcism school.
Published by Funko, this single figure completes the iconic duo of the licence alongside the individual version of Yuta or their "Moment" diorama format.
