Meet Johnny Joestar, the protagonist of the seventh part of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, with this collectable figurine released by Banpresto. Inspired by the Steel Ball Run story arc, it depicts the former jockey in a particularly expressive pose, faithful to the spectacular and instantly recognisable style of Hirohiko Araki’s work.
Johnny is sculpted on his knees, his torso leaning forward and both arms outstretched in opposite directions. This dynamic pose emphasises the length of his silhouette and gives the figurine a strong visual presence despite its compact size. His iconic outfit is faithfully reproduced, featuring his blue trousers, a light-coloured top edged with pink, striped cuffs and a cap decorated with stars and small horseshoe-shaped ornaments. His intense gaze and determined facial expression heighten the drama of the scene.
Made from PVC and measuring approximately 18 cm, this figurine is designed to be displayed in a display case, on a shelf or alongside other characters from the Steel Ball Run range. It is a must-have item for collectors of Banpresto figurines and fans of the unique world of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure.
Johnny Joestar is the main protagonist of Steel Ball Run, the seventh part of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. Once regarded as a genius jockey, he loses the use of his legs and sinks into despair. His encounter with the mysterious Gyro Zeppeli changes his fate when he discovers that Gyro’s ‘Rotation’ technique can temporarily allow him to move his legs.
Determined to understand this phenomenon and find a new purpose, Johnny joins forces with Gyro in the Steel Ball Run, a horse race spanning some 4,000 miles across the United States. He takes part in the competition on his horse, Slow Dancer, whilst facing numerous rivals and Stand users. His journey is as much a physical quest as it is a journey of personal renewal, marked by his determination to overcome his weaknesses and reclaim his freedom.
