Origin and world of the character (Lore)
A former elite hitman for the Russian mafia, John Wick, nicknamed Baba Yaga (the Boogeyman), is a man feared by the entire organised crime world for his implacable determination and absolute mastery of martial arts and firearms. After coming out of retirement to avenge the death of his dog and the theft of his car, he finds himself hunted by the Big Table, the secret organisation that governs the global underworld. This version of the figure illustrates his extreme versatility in combat: deprived of a firearm or forced into silence, the mythical assassin can transform any bladed weapon, or even the most rudimentary objects, into surgical instruments of death to achieve his revenge and ensure his survival.
