Origin and world of the character (Lore)
Created in 1974 by designer Yuko Shimizu for the Sanrio company, Hello Kitty (real name Kitty White) is a fictional English girl living in the suburbs of London, depicted as an anthropomorphic white cat. She has become a worldwide phenomenon and the absolute emblem of the Japanese kawaii trend, spreading the values of kindness, friendship and sharing across generations. The collection to which this figurine belongs has fun dressing up the legendary faces of the brand in pastoral costumes. This bovine cosplay adds a quirky, endearing aesthetic to the already vast universe of this great fashion and merchandising icon.
